TotalEnergies pricing — DC, AC, subscriptions

Ad-hoc rates run €0.69/kWh on DC fast chargers and €0.40/kWh on AC outlets. TotalEnergies app subscribers can sign up for the Mobility Plan at €5/month, which drops DC to €0.55/kWh and AC to €0.30/kWh — break-even at about 25 kWh of DC charging per month. Connectors and session speed

TotalEnergies offers a more inclusive connector mix than Fastned: every motorway site has CCS Combo (175 kW) and Type 2 AC (22 kW); about a third also carry a CHAdeMO outlet for legacy Asian-market vehicles. The AC outlets are intended for overnight users at motel-adjacent aires rather than highway sprinters.

Frequently asked questions

Where can I find TotalEnergies 175 kW chargers?
Every TotalEnergies motorway site in France and Belgium has at least one 175 kW CCS Combo charger. Newer builds add a second 175 kW unit. The Jornee app shows the actual max-kW reading per station on the live map, including the per-site connector mix.
How much does charging at TotalEnergies cost?
Ad-hoc €0.69/kWh on DC, €0.40/kWh on AC. The Mobility Plan (€5/month) drops those to €0.55/kWh DC and €0.30/kWh AC — break-even at about 25 kWh DC per month. Roaming via Shell Recharge or Chargemap follows the MSP's rate, typically €0.79-0.89/kWh DC.
Does TotalEnergies support CHAdeMO?
About a third of TotalEnergies motorway sites carry a CHAdeMO cable rated to 50 kW. Newer builds focus on CCS Combo and Type 2 AC. The Jornee app surfaces the connector mix per station so you can plan around it if you drive a Leaf gen 1/2 or an Outlander PHEV.
What's the difference between TotalEnergies AC and DC pricing?
DC fast charging (175 kW) is priced at €0.69/kWh ad-hoc — €0.55/kWh with the Mobility Plan. AC charging (22 kW) is €0.40 ad-hoc — €0.30 with the plan. AC is intended for overnight users at motel-adjacent aires; DC is what you want for highway sprints.
How does TotalEnergies coverage compare to Fastned on French autoroutes?
TotalEnergies has the densest footprint on the French network — 350+ motorway sites versus Fastned's near-zero French presence. On the A6 Paris-Lyon corridor specifically, TotalEnergies anchors most aires de service; Fastned focuses on the NL/BE/DE/UK markets instead. Both report 100% renewable sourcing.
